Sculptures
I quite enjoy making sculptures. Although I have put a hold on making them because of space limitations. I plan on continuing my exploration into the sculpture field.

About "Memory Building Through the Senses"
Although the title explains the work quite plainly, I think it is important to think about the creation of memories. Just like when you smell freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. You immediately have that sense of comfort and anticipation for the taste of them. Although I chose a rather good memory, some perceptive abilities can create such an aversion to certain elements and situations. Although these are all interpreted through our senses they come to be relied on quite heavily.
This piece is approximately 3 feet x 1 1/2 feet.
Fabric Tornado

About the "Fabric Tornado"
This tornado includes many unique shapes that are individually crafted from wire and sown with fabric. One person may enter the sculpture and feel as though they are transported elsewhere or viewing the world through a different perspective. Although the fabric is translucent, you feel very isolated within the piece. The concept is whimsicle and playful and meant to challenge the creative concept of the potential of space use.
The sculpture is approximately 5 feet in diameter, and 9 feet tall.
