What are drawings? This is a question I was once asked. At the time I answered that drawings were compositions with meaning. On further reflection, drawings are extended expressions, that come out in the form of lines. If one single line is drawn, can it thus be presented as a drawing? My answer is yes. This line represents something to someone. You don't necessarily have to understand all drawings, not everthing is meant for one individual person, but maybe it reaches and speaks to one person all the same. That's why I draw, because sometimes one line can express an infinite number of things.
